Jakarta Mori Tower (MPP)
A tower where the occupied floors do the lighting, with the facade scheme kept to what the form actually needs.
The curve is the building. Once the floor plates are lit and the glazing is doing its job, a tower like this already reads from the street, so the facade scheme was written to support that rather than compete with it.
Grazing light sits behind the balustrade band at each level, which holds the horizontal line and keeps the curve legible from below without putting a single visible source on the elevation.
At the podium the level drops and the temperature warms, so the building meets the street at a human scale instead of continuing the tower brightness all the way to the pavement.
